Installed power value sometimes rely on operator’s own communication. This has at least those caveats:
Operators might communicate on the future installed power, diregarding the different phases of ramp up of the facility. This can lead to an overestimation of power in the database, until the datacenter reaches its full capacity and power.
Operators might communicate only about IT power installed, which doesn’t include the technical environment, cooling and power loss in the figure, while not precising if this is IT power or total power. This can lead to an underestimation of power in the database, as the main information we want regarding power is the total power installed for the complete building.
